FOUR VERSES

if I want to love, well I can choose to do that;
I don't need anything at all that I don't have.

I open all the windows and leave down all the screens —
i swear i'm trying to recieve as much beauty as i can store and keep.
I'm just not sure how much.

apartment filled with clutter, but the plant above the sink
sometimes it's reaching for an outside it can't breach.
i've never really known what you want from me.

well if you want to love, you can choose to do that;
you don't need anything.
you have a charged-up phone and you can call me,
open up an hour just for talking.
we don't have to go anywhere.
